I noticed on most if not all of the fire lists, TRF is listed as group 5. I used to have this starting with TG 16, but several of those TGs are now used by other agencies. Does anyone know if the TRF is still valid, and did they change the TGs :?: The TRF system is completely separate from the RCS ...

From a person I know who uses the phone patch, you just get a delay if the freq is busy, then it gets locked for the call. It's always the same freq.. If I turn it up again, I'll post it. With Motorola trunking each frequency has additional equipment specifically for that channel to facilitate maki...

I think the "phone" part of "phone patch" for 3056 and 3120 was an ignorant assumption from long ago. I believe the original purpose (long ago) for the TG's was for patching other elements in to the system. I don't believe the new system has telephone interconnect since it requir...
