Hmmm... I think you are on to something here. The scanner only seems to go off when I hit the 15 south around Miramar, which is close to KGTV over in KM. I wonder why they are using a frequency the same as county fire though... I have yet to nail the actual frequency down - cant figure out how to ge...

Whats with SD Cnty FD?
Every Day for the past week I've been listening to Oprah or some such other drivel being broadcast on frequency on my drive home. At first I thought it was just some firefighter inadvertantly keying the mic on an HT while sitting on the couch, but every day? Doesnt dispatch jump all over an open mic...
