Re: 6 FD GND 5 What TG is this?

Thanks for access never claimed to be a win96 program expert, but I put a bank in my PRO96 with a Control Channel of 868.4125 for a few of East County Sheriffs TGs. Anyway, it's 5:40pm and there is traffic coming from some folks called 6 FD GND 5.. All I put in was Lemon Grove Dispatch, Santee Disp...

Re: Activity on EMER1

Two-day multi-agency sweep operation, on ICS 1-7 and EMER 1.
The EMER 1 activity was CHP's patch into the RCS.

Re: Failsoft on the No. Zone

I have heard several announcements today from Oside PD that the radios are intermittently going into failsoft mode. While this has been going on, I haven't heard any substantial change in radio traffic. I have done some searching and what I have found indicates that I shouldn't be hearing normal tr...

Re: Fleetmaps

Thanks Don. I assume where it says agency between med air and the p's is where they'll put those TG's. Do you know the TG's for 7p, 8p and 9p? Has anyone been able to verify the TG's that JP posted on the 27th? I think you are misunderstanding me. The agency admin TGs would go into 16a-16p along wi...

Re: New antenna

The 9dBd gain number looks right. You're probably shooting past Mt. Soledad to one of the South zone sites (UCSDMC, Otay, etc.). (Mt. Soledad is in the North Zone.) Don Thanks for the help Don. The map I have doesn't really show which zone the Soledad site is on. It is just sitting out th...

Re: New antenna

I stumbled across another 850MHz antenna on fleabay. This one is a maxrad 824-896MHz 6 element yagi with a claimed 9dBd gain. I pointed it at Soledad and it pulls in the south zone full scale. I now hear all 3 RCS zones and the city system with no issues. The antenna was $6 with $15 for shipping. C...

Re: Fleetmaps

Alright came up with a couple of questions looking at the conversion chart. First is Heartland getting rid of each individual angencies admin channels and just using Admin 4A and Admin 5B? And next what is GIL? GIL Tac 4J and GIL CMD 4K the old South Tac 7 and South Cmd 4. Zone 16 on the fleetmap i...
