Actually saw the new engine at the Burn Run...it's a Pierce.

Heard Engine 34 (id 1925) and 39 (1923) go into service yesterday.

With all the Pierce front-lines going into ready reserve maybe they can retire some of those 1985 E-Ones.

Nice to hear that some of the KME's are in service. Drove by 34s today and the old Pierce is still front-lne.

Looks like they are coming into service. I heard Engine-45 go into their brand new apparatus # 1924 this morning.

I've heard the dispatches too...in fact I was in Kearny Mesa when Medic Rescue 37 was dispatched...it came rolling right by me but was a standard medic unit, not like the rigs they've used in the past

Anyone know what's going on with the new KME rigs. I see them at the repair facility...looks like they are ready to go.
