Re: Freq Question
Hi rbahri5206 I use a Pro-96 for my trips down south. I don't know anything about ARC but you can download Win96 and run it free for 30 days, enough time to get your radio programmed. I have attached my basic file for San Diego. Feel free to customize and add to it. Bank 1 = SDPD Bank 2 = SDFD Bank ...

Re: Coronado PD
I am hearing Coronado PD on 36352 (RCS South) as of 8:42 PM.
Make sure you have the right talkgroup and verify its not locked out. Can you hear other RCS south agencies?

Re: Are "DES" channels encrypted?
Last I monitored those talkgroups they were in the clear. Perhaps the encryption is user selectable and they opted not to use it that round.

Re: Close Call Help ( another Dumb NEWB question)
What other freqs did you log and do they display any PL or DCS info? If not, then its likely to be part of an LTR trunk system.

Re: Programming Help
Here is how to upload from RR using FreeSCAN. This is the easiest to use software for programming Uniden scanners in my opinion. 1. Go to File > Import > RadioReference Trunked... 2. Fill in your login/password, pick country, state and San Diego for the county. Under available systems choose the San...
