RCS tracking system?

What kind of tracking system is the county on? I dont remeber if its motorola type I or II
And is it all on the systems or is some on EDACS of a UHF system(s)?

RCS is entirely a Motorola Type II and should be programmed as a "splinter" system.

Whats a splinter system? On my scanner it can only be programmed as: EDACS, something VHF Hi, something VHF Lo, and moto type 1 and 2

I don't know about your scanner, but you should have a choice when you enter the trunk frequencies to use 800 standard or 800 splinter.

Only newer trunkers have that choice, BC235 and 245, even the 250 and 780 have just Type II 800.

And the RCS South Zone isn't a splinter system, it's standard.
