Today I noticed at least a couple volunteer FD's have switched from Heartland dispatch to Calfire. Intermountain came up as Station 85 (used to be 95), and I think I heard Boulevard come up as Station 47.
Anybody aware of others?

I heard the Palomar Mountain chief on a CF channel yesterday say he was testing for station 79. They have been station 97.

I wonder if they will be going to the four digit numbering scheme too.

As far as I know Intermountain is still being dispatched by Heartland. If they get a call into Cal Fires area they are told to switch to their channels.

I have heard the Intermountain units being dispatched by Monte Vista several times. Chief 95 even mentioned on the radio that the new station number was 85. The engine is 7815 and the rescue is 7885.

Sunshine Summit also came up today asking Monte Vista about a scrambled page. That tells me Calfire is dispatching them now as well.

Ok we ran a call with Campo Volunteers early this morning and they have in fact changed their number. Campo's engine is now 7426. Sounds like everyone has changed per the guys in Campo. Guessing it's due to the County merger. The other ones I know of are Pine Valley 7424, Harbo Canyon 7214 and Descanso is 7215.

All the units identified on this list as Mount Laguna are actually Palomar Mountain. Mt Laguna did not change dispatch centers or numbers.

Ya, he *just* sent me a correction and I was getting on to edit it, before anyone noticed! LOL

I'll fix it now.

Sunshine Summit is Station 59 with the appropriate unit numbers (75x9).
