It looks like Cal Fire is reinforcing their air assets at Ramona. On the web cam there is what appears to be a P-3 tanker visible and the morning report mentioned a heli-tanker.

There is a Santa Ana condition forecast for the weekend.

It looks like the Forest Service is pulling some of their aerial assets out of Ramona. I heard one of their helicopters (the S-61?) flight following this morning on the way to Monterey and a few minutes ago on the web cam I saw one of the P-3s (25) leaving. I don't know about the other P-3 (00).

I believe the assets were in town only for the Santa Ana wind event.
