Did anyone hear about a distress call from a boat today in the Pendelton area. I heard a strange exchange between a CG helo and Longrifle this morning. I thought it was some sort of strange practice and forgot about it. I just saw a post on another board that there was a boat in distress in the area.

Could this have been in response to the search for the down aircraft off San Clemente? I know when I worked for Hartson in Oceanside Life Flight had to clear with Longrifle anytime they entered Pendleton airspace...
