Blue Angels on 3/14

I was out in the desert near El Centro on 3/14. I heard the formation team on 275.35 and 284.25. The solos were on 237.8. I hadn't heard the Angels for several years and they were as interesting as ever. I was with a group of people that had never heard them before and they were shocked at the casual nature of the comms.

I thought they might be close by. I work near MCASMiramar. Last week I saw a plane take off, and I was pretty sure that it was the Blue Angels supply plane. They took off the normal west bound, then made a wide turn east bound. They must have come to get something they left behind last year :lol:
