Up until recently, the San Pasqual units were referred to as Engine 67, Truck 67, etc. I think they're just using a different numbering system, not new equipment.

Were they using a water bucket in the drill, since the Canadian helicopter doesn't have a water tank?

I can see where a FLIR would be useful, but I wonder why a TV downlink. Who will they transmit to?

Copter 1?

There is a helicopter parked in Copter 1's space at Montgomery Field with Canadian registration letters and Copter 1 is not there. Anybody know what's going on there?

I'm wondering if Copter 1 is in for maintenance and this is some kind of loaner. It doesn't have a water tank.

Montgomery Field has an alternate tower frequency too. It's 125.7. I have heard both in use several times when the airport is particularly busy. Then they use a separate tower operator for each of the parallel runways, like what was described for Brown. When both frequencies aren't being used separa...
