My dad works as a fire fighter there and its no longer rural metro that leases them its fire something i belive but im not sure on the new name so maybe you should go check that out. and the rescue 8 is an AMAZING fire truck.

i wouldnt know this for sure but im just taking an educated guess. maybe since the fuel tender has the same logo on it as the helicopter maybe its owned by the airport? and the airport more than likely uses it for fire fighting if its there all the time just sitting there but in the event of a fire ...

Yeah i actually have an icom ic-w31a for freqs 140-160 and 47x.xx+550 i think and then a few fire radios i picked up and the conventional scanner.

I have a Radioshack PRO-96. What should i do with it after everything is digital/encrypted? Is there anything i can do to it to make it receive digital transmissions?
