Actually Aid 18 still exists. Check the East County Fire website. It is always shows out of service in CAD, but it still has to be there because the residents of Crest actually pay a fee to the FD for an ambulance. Of course they always get medics when they call, but in a pinch it can be used.

Great list. A couple of units are missing that I thought I would mention. WT-3, MT-4 (Medic Truck), M-8, R-18, A-18, BR-27. The OES at Sta 13 is OES-292, Sta 18 is OES305, and Sta 16 has OES-307. Also National City stations need to be added. Sta 31 has E-31 and Sta 34 has E-34, T-34, R-34, and BAT-5...

Drove by 28's today and saw many new pieces of apparatus. New Rescue 4, Haz Mat 44, and Brush 10, 33, 34 and 40, all brand new. Looks like the end of the lime-green brush rigs is near.

I heard a unit call himself "10 George Sam 20" several times yesterday on SDSO Admint talkgroup. What is a "george" unit?
