Why the split in vendors? SDFD orders a massive amount of KME engines yet still buys (in dribbles) Pierce engines & trucks. Just trying to understand the logic...

SDFD Radio Transmissions

Is it just me or is 7-A "dropping out" in the middle of transmissions? This seemed to start about a week ago, with the carrier dropping for just a second in mid-transmisson. I haven't had the problem on other TGs or systems.

I stand corrected...but boy, they must have detailed old Engine 6 if that's waht went to 7s...looks a lot newer than I recall E-6 :)

Hmmm...I work right across from Engine 7. sure looked new and it was definitely a KME but I may just go over and ask. I know 6's got a new Pierce truck recently, but the last time I saw the engine it was a KME.

Have to admit you're right...much as Foley is a scumbag. And then this cop is firing "warning shots" into the shrubbery. Doesn't sound like SOP for most departments. I wonder what he was thinking?
