Become a neighborhood news stringer.

Post by N6ATF »

The Reader will pay $50 for your news story or $60 for your news story plus photo or $75 for your news story plus YouTube video. Write 100-250 words, go to SDReader.com, find the neighborhood or campus you have a news story for, and click on "Submit a News Story".

Editors will read and approve for publishing/payment within 24 hours. They pay every Friday - deadline for submitting to get paid that Friday is Tuesday at noon.

(this was paraphrased from a full-page spread on page 2 of the 12/24/2008 issue)

If your story is chosen for our print version, we'll pay $50 for your story instead of $10.

Did you write a story or just submit video/photo? Can we see what you submitted?
