MERCY

Make sure you read the NAME on the right side.
Looks like it list some old info on the FAA search page.

N402MA is listed as being owned by CFS Air LLC which is a leasing company. Air Methods must be leasing it from them.

According to my source Mercy Air 5 is a Eurocopter EC135, registration unknown. He says it broke down on the Scripps pad a few days ago, so the Bell 222 that was seen may have been a temporary replacement.

According to him, the pilots and mechanics "love it" but the crew doesn't like the small cabin.

Air Methods has several of these around the country, but supposedly this is the first one that Mercy Air is using.

At least two Air Methods EC135s have crashed in the past few years, one last May in Wisconsin.

Thanks for the info. I had seen it from a distance once, but the photo is great.

Mercy Air 2 landed at Sharp Memorial the other day while I was at Montgomery Field. I didn't get a good view of it, but it looked like a Bell 412.
