More unid TG from past few days

Come here to talk about the San Diego and Imperial County Regional Communications System. This is a great resource to share talkgroups and information about the countywide RCS.

More unid TG from past few days

Post by brandon »

18768 - Open carrier

24624 - Unit 1 calling Tango

37520 - Chula Vista PD? (falls between their talkgroups)... channel had lots of surveillance and was mostly encrypted.

37776

37904 - DA 723 calling National City PD.

37872 - 4901 calling 4905. Channel referenced as "L.E."

39248

39408 - Law enforcement traffic from Imperial County-probably El Centro police or sheriff. Talked about Gold Cross ambulance and mentioned the cities of El Centro and Brawley a few times plus gave an address located in El Centro (verified on MapQuest). Talkgroup active from 11:22-2:55 PM then was silent after that.

42176 - 27 Mary talking about a traffic accident with rear end damage.

44016 - "Foxtrot this is station Charlie..."(OM had a heavy Boston accent).

I have recordings of these I will see about posting them on the WWW once I find some way to make the file smaller.

Hopefully someone can give some input on these unid ID's.
Thanks everyone.

18768 - Cajon Valley School Dist "MN04"
37904 - National City PD future dispatch channel (?)
37872 - "LEFD" Law enforcement/fire department, 4901 and 4905 are East County Fire units.
44016 - I think that it is UCSD-Thornton hospital security.

Thanks for the information Jeff. I appreciate all of your responses, they are very helpful.

Here a few more ID's and notes from the past couple days.

9488 - Open carrier with static

37520 - Surveillance op in Chula Vista.

37776 - Channel referred to as "CS Tac". Used first names to ID each other.

41920 - "Border Patrol calling CHP on LAW CC". This is probably a decoding error from the scanner, but I found it interesting nevertheless.

And during a quick scan of the RCS North I had 38096 pop up with an open carrier.

Best regards,

Brandon

Few more from today - 1/14/2005

39056 - 82 Nora came up and referred to this as Tac 2. Online listings show this as CHP GUARDIAN. Any additional info on this one?

37664 - Unit said he was talking with school principal at Steel Canyon regarding a student who had been kicked out for poor attendance. Probation?

42160 - "S.O. said we can go..." Units called this Tac 3.

42736 - 10ZML to 10ZL1. Sounds like they call channel "Orit 1" (very hard to make out). Units wanted to use LE East Tac 2 for the event. Later said they did not have this freq in their radio. Someone else talked about a channel called ‘Sir-Comm’ (sp?) that they cannot scan while on Desert. Talk about desert and rural bands. Heard towns of Ramona, Santa Ysabel and Borrego mentioned during this long chat.

39056 is definitely CHP El Cajon Tac 2 - I've heard it referred to (and used) several times and called this ... always forget to post :?

My guess on the last one is that they're referring to Surcom which is the name of the dispatch center for Fish & Game and the State Parks people. I've heard State Parks talk directly to the SO on Rural Tac 80 and local off-road enforcement-type task forces working on the LE East talkgroups.

37776 is Court Services tac, basically baliffs.
42736 is new, and those radio ID's are SDSO Reserve Off-road enforcement team units. That leads me to believe that they are saying "ORT 1", which would stand for "Off Road Team 1".
37664 is CHV PD Resource Tac 3, which are the officers assigned to schools.

The CHP RCS talkgroups from many different sources are all conflicting when I made my list. I just took an average and made the web list from that.

Since you heard it as TAC 2, then that is probably correct and I'll reflect that on the list. Thanks for the intel.

FOXTROT is BP's helo. Does that fit the context of the conversation you heard on that TG?
