2277 or 20277?

Come here to talk about the San Diego and Imperial County Regional Communications System. This is a great resource to share talkgroups and information about the countywide RCS.

2277 or 20277?

Post by N6ATF »

ABLE base was talking to ASTREA last night when I was drifting to sleep on Law Air and one of the guys redirected the traffic to twenty two seven seven or twenty two seventy seven, I think. I punched in both TGs but didn't hear anything. Is that a talkgroup or the last 4 digits of a phone number? I don't see either number in the RCS or TRS listings...

They are giving the exact frequency to go to for direct communications in the aircraft band radio (AM).

122.775 is probably the freq they used.
I've also heard ASTREA on 123.100 in the past.
