This company is the Britney Spears Train Wreck of the security industry.
Here is the recorded audio of that pursuit if anyone is interested

Well I know one thing I worked for the company before and the owners name is Doug Frost.

I am surprised he got his Guard Card back and was in uniform from the period of his expired License. Frost is the person that no one wants to work with unless you really want to be a Rent-A-Cop. He thinks his office is an actual Department. He carry's a gun in plain clothes and also with a badge on his side like he is Clint Eastwood. His leading Captain never had a Guard Card and not even a CDL but, is able to work for Frost under Frost name not his own.

I know that company pretty well and even worked on their cars and trust me they think that they are like the Heri-Trash at the trolley where they think they have power. But, want to stop anyone and everyone and give them a stupid ticket that does not say anything but, should say have a nice day.

Thats my input.

Oh almost forgot that the company is not even under his name but his wifes name.

But, oh well he gets his money and does not want to pay for much but, wants to make sure he has the best of the best to make his office look like a department.

That first URL was invalid. This might work - his current license: http://www2.dca.ca.gov/pls/wllpub/WLLQR ... LTE_ID=642

his cancelled license:

The private security industry for the most part seems unethical at best, borderline criminal at worst. From the regs to the training to the actual business(es). I won't say where I trained, but I got a guard card and a firearm permit (& baton, chemical agent) out of it for almost just the cost of the government fees.

At the time of my first firearms requal, the realization finally came that decent people in the industry are far and few between. Since the range master who I had set an appointment with didn't show (I was early, and hung out there for a couple hours for kicks, all the while leaving voicemails on his cellphone), I decided to not renew my permit. Why should I pay buku bucks to crappy trainers and the crappy government, just to work for a crappy company, where you can't necessarily trust your co-workers, at a slightly less crappy salary?

One thing most people don't know, and which I found out the hard way, is that you don't have to pass a physical test on use of the baton; just a paper one. A deadly weapon (by law), and basically you only have to say you won't use it as such unless in mortal danger with no better option. You might go through a physical training course, but at that point you have already passed the paper test, so you could hit yourself in the head during the physical "test" and still receive the baton permit, which guess what, I had to pay for in advance, with no refund policy stated anywhere (illegal, in my case).

I e-mailed my elected officials about it.

Anyway, back to Frost. Since his wife owns the company, I think legally it would be community property (whatever one spouse owns, the other does too) and he would be able to carry and wear whatever he wanted inside the premises only, with or without a firearm permit, under state law. He just couldn't work as a guard without the permit and full uniform. It seems like there's more than just the usual justification for being an armed proprietor here... they would more likely be targeted with hate/revenge as the motive rather than random criminal acts.

If that's true about his "Captain", then it's a wonder there are no actions on any of the licenses.
