Along with a brush rig from Heartland and North Comm, Brush 35 was sent to the Zaca Fire in Santa Barbara County. This is the fire that has been burning since July 4th and expected containment date is the middle of September.

Just got done reading some email and it sounds like they are planning to do some major burning out up there. They said if they do it it's going to take up to two weeks to finish. I'm surprised they have'nt gotten that out yet.

Too bad it has been out of service since returning from the Zaca incident. The rig suffered heat damage and I'm not sure when it will return to service.
