On air negotiations on HNT

Post by brandon »

Anyone hear the comms today on HNT? Basically there was a negotiator talking with a subject who was upset and was threating to shoot himself out in the desert. A few times I thought I was listening to CB CH-19... hahaha

I had to take a phone call and by the time I got back to the scanner the comms had ceased. I never did hear anything else about it so I'm guessing it was a drill.

I was following it too. I believe it was more of a training exercise then a drill. It was pretty funny. I thought the best part was the end when the 'subject' told the 'police' that the only way he would get out of the car is if the officer got on his hands and knees and barked like a dog. Too funny.

I was surprised to here the cussing over the air, but I guess it was in the name of training...
