Ongoing discussions regarding other fire dispatching in San Diego County including Heartland, NorthComm, Monte Vista, etc. Topics about general wildland fire scanning are also welcome here.

Tim posted the 'Zone Change' on this post on SoCalScan on March 10th.

As a side note, the SD County Board of Fire Chiefs has voted to allow
Chula Vista to move from Zone 4/5 to Zone 3. This may or may not need
state OES approval.

What does that even mean, for those who don't have Yahoo accounts?

Here is a nice post from Jan, 2007 That someone posted the list of all the Zone's.

Maybe Sean can post a HTML page of the updated ZONE's Fire Dept's on ScanDiego.com

Now that SDFD is dispatching chula vista and using some of their lingo for chula vista is pretty cool like I heard ringing alarm highrise at sharp chula vista a few days ago. :)
