CHP new channels

Post by SDnative »

I see "new" channels for CHP listed @ RadioReference.com, Lime 1, 2, 3, etc. and now TAC 1, 2, etc. They are the same frequencies, but different PL, from my understanding.

Has anyone heard any traffic on these freqs? I don't think that I have heard any traffic on their regular freqs like "can 82 switch to TAC 3", or whatever.

Are they maybe increasing their talkaround capabilities because of their use of the RCS with the many TAC TGs available?

The Lime TACs came from paper (source unknown). Who knows the validity to them. The other TACs are more valid it seems. The Lime are kept to be all-inclusive.
