36880 - Escondido PD Tac#? (Use for Checkpoint)
37168 - Escondido Swat
37376 - Escondido Fire Tac 3
38128 - Oceanside Swat

Brian,
The talkgroup you listed as Escondido Fire Tac 3, or 37376 would be a digital talkgroup. I don't believe Escondido Fire has any digital talkgroups. I'm wondering how you found it/what you heard...

Hi 318,
I always hear Escondido Fire using it. I started listening to it(37376) when I notice there Radio ID's is always on that talkgroup on trunker.
When they do training at 'Station 1' they use it. And when they were burning down a few old homes this past summer they used that talkgroup. So I have it programmed with all my Escondido stuff now.

Chato,
Each north county fire agency has one digital talkgroup. I beleive it's for MA because a number of the north fire agencies are/were digital.
e.g. Oceanslide, CBD

yes all escondido fire, PD and public works are all digital now

Wait just a minute... not ALLLLLL of Escondido is digital. I live in San Marcos and regularly monitor Esco Fire dispatch.
I honestly did not know that all the fire departments in the North County had at-least one M/A talkgroup as W6PIX noted, but I can assure you that Escondido Fire is not all digital.
