CRX 120 Spare Battery Cradle

Recently found a CRX 120 Spare Battery Cradle that per USASCAN.com
will work with charging a Primecell Scan-Max Rechargeable Battery, SMX 4.8v 2600 mAh NIMh.
Its supposed to be for Uniden 4.8v scanners and chargers. It also recharges BP120, 180, 1200 and 250 battery packs.
According to the Tech Rep that I talked with it will work with the 4.8v 2600 mAh NIMh, but just takes a little longer than the BP's listed above.
Haven't ordered it yet, but probably will. Beats tying up my scanner to recharge the battery.
And, I know you can get a 396T that you can use common batteries with, but I am considering buying one. Can't help if I squeak!
